Nuclear Savage

I came across this documentary called "Nuclear Savage" which it talks about the nuclear testings that took place in the Marshall Island. The term "savage" refers to the people from primitive cultures, however the documentary shows how savagery reaches new levels with the advent of new technology. The people from the Marshall Islands were treated as human experiments to the radiation of the bombs. The people of Rongelap received near fatal doses of radiation from one of the tests, and were then moved to a highly contaminated island to serve as a guinea pig to test the effects of radiation on humans for almost 30 years, where they suffered from recurring cancers and birth defects that have affected multiple generations. The US conducted 67 nuclear testings which vaporized the island and exposed the population to a fall out.
